Shay, who grew up in Kfar Hess, who grew up in an ultra orthodox family in Lod, 15 years ago at a party in Tel-Aviv when they were 24 and 30 respectively. They fell in love and the rest, as they say, is history, as they’ve been life and business partners ever since. He served in the IDF in combat positions, Shay as a squad commander in Tothanim (artillery division).

His found their way into the kitchen because Shay, who has always loved baking, entered the first season of the Israeli version of Bake Off and won! Shay opened his first pop-up Crembo store in Sarona Market in Tel-Aviv, which was very successful from day one. They treated that first store as a pilot, already planning on taking their creations overseas.

Creaminals.USA opened as just an industrial kitchen in Tenafly four months ago, and mostly sells to catering companies, events, restaurants, and makes deliveries to private customers and offices. Don’t tell anybody, but they’re planning on having a storefront in New York at some point!
